What is the side wind pressure?
The truss base plates can be weighted and/or pegged into the ground to ensure that they are secure from any wind load applied to the side. If used with the stretch tents, then the tension of the stretch tent is applied to also secure the truss.
What size is the base plate?
The standard base is 800mm dia 6mm thick Steel. However we can custom make the base to any size that would suit.
What is the total load?

Engineering rating is for loads greater than 6 Tonne.
What about the static load?
This will depend on how it is used. For example, the live load will differ depending on the tent it is used on, our engineer can calculate static loads based on the live load applied.
We can customise these to suit any loads required, based on our customer's application. The standard product is designed for our tents so all our engineering calcs are based solely on use with these tents. However, we have standard TUV tables for the truss used so can increase the spec and design if needed for other applications or the application of static loads.
How do they handle uplift?
As the base can be ballasted or secured via ground anchors or pegs they can be engineered for any uplift force.
Do they come with guy wires?
Not as standard but can easily be added.
